Amy Lewis is a dedicated RN/NP with a rich background in emergency medicine. She began her career after earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2009. Choosing to work in northern Saskatchewan allowed her to work in an expanded scope of practice, which she found fulfilling. To further her career and continue her focus on patient care, she completed her master’s in nurse practitioning from the University of Athabasca.
A significant personal loss shaped Amy’s professional journey; after losing her mother to a rapid struggle with pancreatic cancer, she was inspired to create a medical practice centered around health and wellness. This experience deepened her commitment to her patients, as she values hearing their stories and concerns. Amy’s approach involves thoroughly understanding the underlying issues affecting her patients, allowing her to provide more comprehensive and empathetic care.
